At GuardCompass, accuracy matters. When we get something wrong, we fix it—fast—and we tell you what changed.

How to request a correction

  • Email [email protected] with:
    • Page URL
    • The exact text in question
    • What you believe is incorrect + a reliable source (official docs, plan pages, audits, screenshots)

We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and aim to verify/resolve within 5 business days (often sooner).

What counts as a correction vs. an update

  • Correction: We fix factual errors (features, prices, plan limits, dates, names). We add a brief note in the page’s “What changed” box.
  • Update: Routine refreshes that don’t fix an error (e.g., new plan names, new screenshots, seasonal deals). We still date-stamp the page.

Transparency & version notes

  • Each major page shows a “Last updated” date.
  • Substantive fixes get a one-line note (what changed + date) in the “What changed” box.
  • We don’t stealth-edit verdicts or scores after affiliate contact; material changes are noted.

Disagreements

If a vendor disputes a point, we’ll review primary sources (official docs, apps, audits). If evidence is mixed, we’ll say so or remove the claim until it’s verifiable.
