We do not sell personal data. We do not perform automated decision-making producing legal effects.

3) Cookies & consent

We use necessary cookies plus (with your consent) functional, analytics, and marketing/affiliate cookies. You can manage or withdraw consent anytime via the cookie banner “Cookie settings” link in the footer. See our separate Cookie Policy for details.

4) How we share data (processors/recipients)

We use reputable providers acting as processors under GDPR where applicable:

  • Hosting & platform: WordPress.com / Automattic (site hosting), TablePress (tables), Rank Math (SEO).
  • CDN & security: Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, DDoS protection).
  • Forms & email delivery: Jetpack/WordPress.com forms (sends your message to our inbox at [email protected]).
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (IP anonymization and consent-based). (Remove if not used.)
  • Affiliate networks & link tracking: e.g., Impact, CJ, Awin (to attribute purchases from our links).
  • Email routing/newsletter (if used): Cloudflare Email Routing / Mailer service.

These providers process data only to deliver their services to us and are bound by contracts and appropriate safeguards.

5) International transfers

Some providers are outside the EEA. When data is transferred, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards where required.

6) Data retention

  • Contact messages: up to 24 months after last interaction (or sooner upon request).
  • Affiliate/analytics events: see provider default retention (typically 14–26 months).
  • Server logs: typically 30–90 days.
    We keep data longer only if necessary for legal claims, accounting, or compliance.

7) Your rights (GDPR)

  • Access to your personal data
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction or objection to processing (including analytics/marketing)
  • Portability (data you provided to us)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., analytics/newsletter)

8) Children’s privacy

Our content is for a general audience and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9) Security

We use HTTPS, reputable hosting/CDN, access controls, and least-privilege principles. No method is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data.

10) Third-party links

Our pages link to third-party sites (e.g., antivirus vendors). Those sites have their own privacy policies; please review them before submitting data.

11) Changes to this policy

We’ll update this notice when our practices change. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
